Puja Description

Vastu Shanti is a sacred Hindu ritual performed before starting any new construction project, such as building a house or an office. In Hinduism scripture there is immense importance to "Sthan-devta" which means the original deity of that local place upon which the structure is constructed and he is the one need to bless the occupant or later. The priest also performs a puja, or ritualistic worship, to the gods and deities to invoke their blessings and protection for the building and its occupants. The Vastu Shanti ceremony is performed by a priest, who chants mantras and performs a havan, or fire ceremony, while the owners or occupants of the building sit in attendance. The ceremony is a symbolic way of purifying and harmonizing the energy of the building, its surroundings, and its occupants. It is believed that performing Vastu Shanti ensures that the construction project is completed successfully, and that the building and its occupants are protected from any negative energies or forces.
